stupid for ticking BFA ID on my Ateneo application form.
Everyone knows that art is my the blood in my heart and the soul in me. Some things can't be learned in the streets. But art will always be there for me - even without a BFA.

I've Got That Lefty Curse

I just arrived from a lunch session in McDonald's Retiro with Misha, Pauiie and Lia. We all came from the Architecture / Design / Visual Arts group of the On the Job Exposure. We went to the Cosmopoint International Institute of Technology which was located on the fifth floor of a building in Tomas Morato.
While we were waiting for the one in charge of our OJE, they let us surf the net for a while. We checked the Ateneo College Entrance Test results

When we saw the word, "accepted", the four of us screamed! Basically, not everyone in the group thought of checking the results first. So I was the first in he room to know that I passed. Then there was a lot of congratulations and checking if friends and friends of friends passed. Then here's where the drama comes in.

When I got home, I shouted out loud that I passed the ACET. Then I started sharing about the free graphics design workshop CIIT is giving us. And I made it sure that it's obvious I'm excited and want to attend the workshop. Then they started the whole thing again. They - my parents - started saying things that intend to give me the impression that my course is not, uh, good. But what can I do? It's MY passion. It's MY life. I am not you. I have no way out.
And surely, I wouldn't want to live my life by the dictates of someone else, even my parents.

Can He Tell That I Can't Breathe?
My ears were bleeding a while ago. Not literally! =))
I was sitting there, watching a really great and exciting basketball game for the intramurals. And I hear the people beside me talking. They're talking shit against my friends. It was just so hard to take that I jumped from the varsity team table, where I was seated with my varsity friends, and helped my other friend in the scoreboard. I can't stand all the noise these people have to say and make fun of. I mean like, you do have your own lives, do you?
That whole thing was a total wreck. I know why I was friends with these people. I trust them.

Born Every Minute Is A Victim
... is a victim but we turn away.This entry is all about this space which happens to be mine among all the wretched spaces in this chaotic web. It's boring, I know. But hey, as Mr. Zaraspe, my Economics teacher, said, "A little knowledge is dangerous." So yeah, whatever that meant. :))
It would be tedious for me to write and for you to read if I laid facts out in paragraph form so let's save ourselves few seconds and a lot of brain cells:
1. I have another blog:
TTDUP.
2. This lay-out was based on TTDUP's lay-out and both of which are solely mine. I made minor changes only 'cause I was too lazy to make a new one. :))
3. I was on the verge of deleting my blog, TTDUP, but instead resulted to creating a new one instead. I know,
ironic. =))
4. Paintbrushes and Mixtapes / PAM was supposed to be Brushes and Mixes. BAM was short and catchy but PAM hits the right note.
5.I don't know why I made this new blog. But hey, I'm not usually impulsive like this. :P
6.Rules? There are two. One:
Everyone is welcome, even bashers and haters, fiends and foes. Two:
No stealing without my permission. If you fail to notify me, at least leave a credit. That's good enough. :)
7. My labels are artists' names or band names and there are words enclosed in brackets in the end of each post. That's because for each post, there is a song associated with it. The label categorizes the artist/band and you can see the title in the end, enclosed in brackets.
8. My blog usually embodies my two passions:
art and music. (That's why it's paintbrushesandmixtapes) I could compare them to my personal brand of heroin but that would be pretty nasty. :))
So that's it for now. I'll keep on updating this entry whenever necessary. Have fun on the accident trip you'll have on this URL. :)
